Something happened awhile ago
like a candle put out with just a blow
my heart skipped a beat or two
i'm amazed i can still count to two
I can't find the exact words to tell you how i feel
worried and scared are just two of the many that i now have to deal
The world is unsafe in whom can i trust
i look up to you, God, you're the one i ask
Do not turn away because i know you are just
All i ask of you now is just a easy task
To protect and care for one who got hurt in dusk
Please let it all come to pass... ... ...
